![]() I've tried googling the issue but to no avail. I've disabled "HDMI Control" on my TV, but to no avail. TV is a Sony Bravia KDL-46EX653 if that's relevant. Open the System Settings app in the Dock or from the Apple icon in the menu bar, then click Sound in the sidebar. As well as running the HDMI through a USB-C to HDMI dongle. I have tried all the different HDMI ports, and 2 different HDMI cables that I know work from other devices. The sound plays for about half a second then cuts out. EDIT: Spotify's player seems a bit more resilient, however it does also glitch, almost like something is continuously being pulled forward but Spotify won't let it, resulting in weird audio skipping and glitching. When I switch to the TV as the sound output, whatever media I have playing starts scrubbing forward, as in video timeline moves. The content plays and sound comes out of the laptop speaker, don't worry, the issue isn't that simple. So, i plug the HDMI in the TV and the laptop. ![]()
